Bali is an absolutely magical island in Asia. It is an island of Indonesia located between the islands of Java and Lombok. Its area is 5,637 km2 and its capital is Denpasar, to the south of the island.

Bali is a true Garden of Eden, with magnificent scenery, rice terraces, hundreds of temples, natural sites and white sand beaches set against turquoise waters. Bali really looks like paradise.

The island has hotels for every budget and even has luxury hotels with upscale amenities for quite reasonable prices. The terraced rice fields backed by the volcanoes and the lush vegetation offer landscapes of rare beauty.

Bali has an invaluable cultural heritage whose temples in the mountains, traditional villages and many festivities are testimonials.

To the south of the island is the most touristic and seaside part. There are also beautiful white sandy beaches and islands on which you can go on day trips or several days.

From the bay of Kuta, several excursions are proposed.

Kuta is also very popular with surfers who come to practice surfing, whatever their level,

We visited Bali as part of a tour with Plein Vent, as in Thailand.

We first toured the island and visited the less touristy tribes and monuments before returning to the south.

More in the center of the land, is Ubud. Even if the city has lost its authenticity (the fashion shops are everywhere), it retains an attractive charm and it is there that one can see the most beautiful rice terraces, very famous in Bai. It is truly the trademark of the Balinese landscape: these irrigation and water management systems have been anchored in Balinese culture for centuries.

In the tribes we were able to observe very impressive cock fights.

In the center of Bali lies Mount Agung, the most sacred and highest volcano of the island.

The fauna is the flora are very dense. Its tropical climate allows it to have species like elephants, snakes, monkeys etc …

As in Thailand, there are many temples dedicated to their gods. The locals have a lot of respect for the tourists they meet, although we do not have the same culture at all. It is a true lesson in life to see the conditions in which they live and evolve and the happiness that animates them. The children have rather round heads and are very smiling when photographed. Only 6% of the population speaks English.
